The Benue State 10th House of Assembly, led by Speaker Alfred Emberga Berger, has appointed new principal officers following the resignation of former Speaker Aondona Dajoh and the dissolution of the previous leadership.
The new principal officers, announced by Press Secretary Zape Michael Upaa on September 11, 2025, are:
- Hon. Thomas Dugeri - Majority Leader
- Hon. Abraham Jabi - Deputy Majority Leader
- Hon. Cyril Ikong - Majority Chief Whip
- Hon. Simon Gabo - Deputy Majority Whip
- Hon. Abu Umoro - Minority Leader
- Hon. Cephase Dyako - Deputy Minority Leader
- Hon. Samuel Jiji - Minority Whip
- Hon. Moses Egbodo - Deputy Minority Whip.
