The Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has appointed Terhemen Tarzoor as the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election campaign in 2027.
The appointment of Terhemen Tarzoor comes after he had earlier been nominated by Governor Alia positioning him as the State Coordinator representing Benue State within the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative.
The inauguration ceremony took place yesterday at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja and was presided over by His Excellency Hope Uzodinma, the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and the Governor of Imo State.
During the inauguration event, Governor Uzodinma urged all State Coordinators to effectively collaborate with party stakeholders within their respective states to secure a significant victory for President Tinubu in 2027.
He emphasized the importance of utilizing the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as a platform to encourage active citizen participation in the electoral process.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors for President Tinubu comprise distinguished political leaders from across the nation, aiming to engage relevant stakeholders and Zonal Coordinators from each of the six geopolitical zones.
Their objective is to establish a cohesive network at both the state and national levels that advances President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and promotes the President's economic policies beyond the year 2027.
In an acceptance speech, Ambassador Terhemen Tarzoor expressed his profound appreciation to Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for his recommendation and the trust placed in him. He has committed to upholding the Governor's confidence in his capabilities.
The composition of the Zonal Coordinators for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for President Tinubu's 2027 campaign from each of the six geopolitical zones is as follows:
- North Central - His Excellency Tanko Almakura
- South East - His Excellency Ayim Pius Ayim
- North East - His Excellency Isa Yuguda
- North West - His Excellency Aminu Masari
- South South - His Excellency Ifeanyi Okowa
- South West - The Chairman of the NPA, Dr. Adedayo Adeyeye
Additionally, the State Coordinators from all 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, have been entrusted with the responsibility of forming Local Government and Ward executives for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in support of President Tinubu's re-election campaign in 2027.
