The Chief Medical Director of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande, has made a significant contribution of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦200,000) to Miss Naswem Joy Doose, a student at SORA HEIGHTS School, Gboko.
Miss Doose has distinguished herself by achieving the highest score in Benue State and placing third nationally in the 2025 JAMB examination with a commendable total of 369 marks.
During the presentation of this monetary gift, Dr. Hwande praised Miss Doose for her resilience and exemplary academic performance, emphasizing that she has brought honor to her school, family, and the entire state. He encouraged students to prioritize their education, asserting that academic achievement can facilitate access to extraordinary global opportunities.
The Chief Medical Director referenced the inspiring success of three students from Yobe State, who recently garnered international acclaim for their participation in the TeenEagle global competition held in London. He indicated that Miss Doose’s achievement positions her within a similarly promising trajectory.
