On 30 June 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM, troops from Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces (HF), engaged Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Manawaji, located in the Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.
During the ensuing confrontation, the troops successfully neutralized eight terrorists. Additionally, several weapons and ammunition belonging to both the deceased and fleeing assailants were subsequently recovered.
